Day 1: Madrid – Avila – Salamanca
Depart from the San Bernardo bus Terminal: 7 at 08h00 to Avila - Castilian city with its preserved medieval wall. Continue to Salamanca. Time at leisure to walk through this monumental city and its famous Plaza Mayor. Overnight

Day 2: Salamanca – Coimbra
After breakfast, depart to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to continue via Guarda towards Coimbra - site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal. Overnight

Day 3: Coimbra – Fatima – Lisbon
After breakfast, depart to Fatima – an important pilgrimage centre. Time free to visit the Shrine and afterwards continue to Lisbon – the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of the River Tagus. Overnight

Day 4: Lisbon
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city sightseeing tour taking in the old Alfam Quarter, Tower of Belem and Monastery of Los Jeronimos. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight

Day 5: Lisbon – Caceres – Madrid
After breakfast, depart for the border with Spain and continue to Cáceres. Time at leisure to explore this town. Continue onto Madrid. Tour ends on arrival in Madrid.
