Day 1

Cairo:
* Arrive at Cairo International Airport where our representative will assist you through immigration and transfer to the hotel ,where you will check-in.
* The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
* Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 2

Cairo:
* Breakfast at the hotel.
* Check out of the hotel and depart on a tour visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
* Transfer to Cairo train station and board the sleeper train for Aswan.
* Dinner and overnight on-board the train.

Day 3

Nile Cruise:
* Arrive at Aswan station in the morning and transfer to the Nile Cruise Liner for check-in.
* Embarkation before lunch.
* Visit the High Dam. The high dam is the largest rock-filled dam in the world and one of the
most important engineering feats of the 20TH century an artificial lake-Lake Nasser,
with a surface of 4000 sq. km lies behind the dam.
Felucca Sailing. We shall sail by the felucca around the Elephantine Island and see the Aga Khan Mausoleum and the Kitchener’s botanical garden.
* Return to the Nile Cruise Liner for overnight

Day 4

Nile Cruise:
* After breakfast set sail to Kom Ombo and Esna
*The Temple of Kom Ombo is exquisitely located on a dune above a bend in the Nile. The Temple is shared equally by two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god of Nile fertility and Haroeis, the elder Horus.
* The Temple of Edfu. The town of Edfu boasts Egypt’s best preserved temple dedicated to Horus, the god of the sun and the planets and the falcon as his symbol.
* A delightful hantour (horse carriage) ride takes you from the Nile to the temple grounds.
* Return to the Nile Cruise Liner for overnight

Day 5

Nile Cruise:
* This morning visit the Temples of Luxor and Karnak.
* The Valley of the Kings shelters the fabled tombs of the pharaohs. More than 40
pharaohs were laid to rest here in ornate subterranean palaces penetrating sometimes
under 100 m into the face of the rock.
* Colossi of Memnon dominating the desert to the east stand the huge colossi of Memnon the sole relics of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
* El Deir El Bahari-Splendor of Splendors
* On the plains at the foot of the rugged Theban mountains, set in a dramatic Amphitheatre of rocky cliffs, stands the terraced Temple of Deir El Bahari a fine example of architecture which Queen Hatshepsut had built 1490 BC. Hatshepsut was the only woman to rule Egypt as a pharaoh.
* Overnight on Board the Nile Cruise Liner.

Day 6

Luxor:
* After breakfast, disembark from the Nile Cruise Liner.
* Enjoy the day in Luxor shopping at the various shops and markets.
* Later in the afternoon transfer to the train station for the return journey to Cairo.
* Dinner and overnight on board the train.

Day 7

Cairo:
* Arrive in Cairo and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
* The remainder of the day is at your leisure to shop for Egyptian linen, leather and other goods at the various shops and markets in Cairo.
* Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 8

Cairo:
* After breakfast, check out of your room (late check-out on request).
* The remainder of the day is at your leisure.
* Later this evening you will be met at the hotel and be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
* Services end at Cairo International Airport.
