Haridwar is one of the most popular pilgrimage cities in India and a center Hindu religion. Millions of people visit this city every year. Haridwar has so many temples and Ashrams. Haridwar is also one of the four cities where Kumbh Mela is organized. Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri is world famous.


Rishikesh is a small city in the northern state of Uttarkhand. It enjoys global fame as the worldwide capital of yoga and meditation. Positioned on the banks of River Ganges, Rishikesh is also the gateway to the Himalayas. It offers massive natural beauty and majesty.

This spiritual town boats a large number of temples against the beautiful backdrop of the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas. There is a well-liked legend linked with the name of the town. It says that when Rishi Raibhya did penance, God appeared before him in the name of Rishikesh. And hence it got its name.

While on one hand, Rishikesh is a perfect destination for those looking to delve into their spiritual side amid the peaceful. Did you know that the Beatles spent time in Rishikesh and wrote many of their best-known songs during this time

Day 1

Arrive Delhi
* You are met and assisted upon your arrival before transfer to your hotel.
* Check-in at your hotel.
* Overnight at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

* Leave your hotel in the morning on a half day combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.
* Visit the Qutab Minar; India Gate (War Memorial) Lakshmi Narayan Temple; a Modern Hindu Temple; drive past President’s House; Parliament House and Secretariat buildings.
* Also visit Raj Ghat– the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi and drive past Jama Masjid; Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
* Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3

Delhi – Haridwar (Road transfer; approx 6 Hrs)
* Depart in the morning for Haridwar and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
* Afternoon sightseeing tour of Haridwar essentially a Hindu pilgrim town with temples and Dharamshalas along the banks of the river Ganga.
* Also visit Har Ki Pauri the most popular bathing ghat which has a footprint of Lord Vishnu; the Hindu God of preservation on stone.
* Attend an evening Aarti on the Ghats.
* Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4

Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar ( Road transfer; approx 45 min – one way)
* Morning tour to Rishikesh. Rishikesh; which stands for the “Plaits of the Sage” is a place of Ashrams where solace seekers come to spend their time in the serenity of God.
* Visit the Shivananda Ashram where discourses in English on Hindu religious texts can be heard.
* Also visit the Lakshman Jhoola; a suspension bridge spanning the Ganga.
* Return to your hotel after the tour for overnight.

Day 5

Haridwar – Delhi (Road transfer; approx 6 Hrs)
* Depart in the morning for Delhi and on arrival check-in at hotel.
* The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Delhi.
* Return to your hotel after the tour for overnight.

Day 6

Delhi – Agra (Road transfer; approx 4-5 Hrs)
* Depart in the morning for Agra and on arrival check-in at Hotel.
* Afternoon tour to the Taj Mahal and Fort.
* Visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20;000 craftsmen brought together from Persia; Turkey; France and Italy. It took 17 years to complete this ‘Love Poem in Marble’. (Please note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays).
* Afterwards visit the Agra Fort containing the halls of private and public audiences & other palaces. Shah Jahan spent years of confinement at the hands of his son Aurangzeb; looking wistfully at the Taj Mahal from the Fort.
* Return to your hotel after the tour for overnight.

Day 7

Agra – Jaipur (237 Kms – 6-7 Hours)
* Leave Agra for Jaipur by car.
* Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri; built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to a scarcity of water.
* The Fatehpur Sikri complex houses tomb of Salim Chisti; Panch Mahal and other palaces; which surprisingly have withstood the ravages of time and are still in good condition.
* On arrival check-in at Hotel and the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Jaipur.

Day 8

* Full day city and Amber Fort with elephant ride.
* The tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja’s City Palace;- the former Royal residence;- part of it converted into a museum.
* One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armory Museum; housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols; blunderbusses; flintlocks; swords; rifles and daggers. * Also see the miniature items and old carpets at the Textile Museum.
* Continue to the Jantar Mantar; the largest stone-and-marble-crafted Observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace; the Observatory has 17 large instruments; many of them still in working condition.
* Standing tall over a small hillock overlooking the Pink city; Amber is a classic; romantic Rajasthani Fort-Palace. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes; apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster.
* A major attraction at the Amber is the Elephant Ride; all the way up to the Fort entrance.
* Return to your hotel after the tour for overnight.

Day 9

Jaipur – Mumbai (By flight)
* Transfer to Jaipur airport and board the flight for Mumbai.
* You will be met and assisted on arrival for the transfer to your hotel.
* The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Jaipur.
* Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 10

* After breakfast leave on a half day visit of Mumbai. visit the Gateway of India; Mumbai’s principal landmark. This arch of yellow basalt was erected on the waterfront in 1924 to commemorate King George V’s visit to Mumbai in 1911.
* Drive past the Secretariat of Maharashtra Government and along the Marine Drive which is fondly known as the ‘Queen’s Necklace’.
* Visit Mani Bhavan; where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his visits to Mumbai.
* Drive past the Victoria Terminus; the principal railway station of Mumbai; a beautiful building that symbolizes the ethos of the Edwardian architecture; well worth a photo stop.
* At the Church gate station, see the Dabbawala’s- a unique tiffin delivery service run by over 5000 semiskilled workers of delivering lunch to corporate executives from their homes.
* Visit the ‘Dhobi Ghat’; an open laundry where Mumbai’s ‘dirties’ are scrubbed; bashed; dyed and hung out to dry – a nice photography stop well worth a visit.
* Visit the ISKON Temple devoted to Lord Krishna in time for the noon aarti and then continue to the colorful Crawford market and Flora fountain a large bustling square; in the heart of the city. * Return to your hotel after the tour for overnight.

Day 11

* Day at leisure to explore Mumbai.
* Overnight at your hotel in Mumbai.

Day 12

Leave Mumbai
* Transfer to Mumbai airport and the board flight back home.
