Getting around in Dubai
The Dubai Red Metro runs through the heart of the city along the Sheikh Zayed Road.
Taxis are reasonably priced, just check that the car has a meter.
Culture and customs
The city is tolerant and cosmopolitan, however, the local customs and cultures should be respected
Dress modestly and remember that the workweek runs from Sunday to Thursday.
Tipping
Tipping is not expected but it is common practice to do so. Restaurants include service charges to the bills
